About the Sunshine Coast
Exploring the Sunshine Coast
Located on British Columbia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast, this Capilano campus was established in 1977 to serve the communities of the region. The campus is located in the village of Sechelt, which along with the Town of Gibsons are the primary commercial centers for the numerous smaller communities dotted along the ribbon of highway that stretches from Langdale where the ferry docks from the mainland to Egmont and Earls Cove at the north end. The Sunshine Coast offers a fantastic array of outdoor recreational opportunities as well as tremendous diversity in arts and cultural events.
