Using Secondary Sources: Writing Centre Handouts

The following handouts offer basic information on the incorporation of primary and secondary sources into academic writing and on avoidance of plagiarism.  For more detailed information, consult the instructors in the Writing Centre (Fir 402).  The Writing Centre book collection also includes various style guides and handbooks covering this topic in great detail - e.g. MLA Handbook and The Capilano Guide to Writing Assignments.
