Student Computer Use in the Library
Library Reference Workstations
- Located to the right as you enter the Library and at the top of the stairs to the second floor.
- 34 PC workstations and a networked laser printer.
- These workstations are for research activities only, you may be asked to give up your workstation if used for email, word processing, and non-course related surfing.
Computer Learning Centre (CLC)
- Located on the main floor of the Library by the glass wall.
- 31 PC workstations and a flatbed scanner workstation.
- MS Office applications and Internet access.
- Networked laser printer. There is a $0.10 per page charge via the PaperCut printing system.
- Colour printer- select the LB 128 Student Printer MFD. There is a $0.50 per page charge via the PaperCut printing system.
- Email and non-course related surfing is permitted in this lab but is limited to 15 minutes per session.

Audio-Visual Services
- Flatbed/slide scanners and CD/DVD burners are available at workstations in the AV Workroom.
Connections for Student Laptops
- There is wireless connectivity thoughout the Library and much of the campus.
- The 2nd floor of the Library has many ports for connecting to the University network. These are located along the outer walls and in the 4 study rooms. You must supply your own cable, an Ethernet Cat5 (or better).
