Tuition and Funding

Tuition 

International student tuition fees are $500 CAD per credit. Most courses are 3 credits or $1,500 per course.

Please note that new students are required to pay a deposit of $5000 CAD before registration, which will be credited towards tuition.

The approximate costs in Canadian funds for 1 term (4 months of study) are:

There are various payment options available, or students can pay their tuition fees by bank wire transfer. Please email inted@capilanou.ca for bank account information.

Please contact the Cashier's Office at finservices@capilanou.ca if you require a receipt. Note that we do not mail receipts for payments. You can check your Student Account to view recent transactions. Allow a few days for your payment to be applied to your account.


Funding Options

International students are also eligible to apply for University administered internal scholarships and some internal awards (Scholarships and awards offered by Capilano University). Capilano scholarship, bursary and award applications are available on-line at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.  Please check the Financial Aid and Awards website mid July to mid September, and mid November to mid January for details. International Student Centre Scholarships & Awards 

Each year, the Centre for International Experience awards ten (10) scholarships valued at $1,000 each. There are five Academic Scholarships and five Merit Scholarships. Information and application forms are available through the Centre for International Experience at BR 339 at the North Vancouver Campus. Please note that students may apply for both the Academic Scholarship and the Merit Award in the same term, but cannot be awarded both. The Centre for International Experience Scholarship committee will review all qualifying applications and award the scholarships.

U.S. Federal Aid

Financial Aid may be available to U.S. citizens through U.S. Federal Financial Aid.
