Bookstore
Located in the southwest corner of the Birch Building, directly across from the Sportsplex, the Bookstore offers required and recommended texts, used books, software, stationery, magazines and newspapers, clothing and other sundry items. The Bookstore accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Interac and cheques with proper ID.
Buy Your Books Online
The Bookstore online purchasing site is now open for Spring Term sales. You can look up your books online. We will fill your order with new or used books, if they are available, whatever your preference, and have them delivered to your home within 2-4 business days of placing your order.
Booklist
If you just want to see what books are available for the current term you can use the online site too. Search by Term first, and then look up the courses that you'll take. You won't be asked to purchase anything until you are ready. One thing to note, if you see that a book has N/A (not available) listed beside it, the book is not in stock yet, and you can't purchase it through the online store. Very useful if you want to know whether to come into the store to do in person shopping or not!!
Refunds
Refund Deadline: The refund deadline for the Spring Term books is January 31st 2012. Sorry, we can not refund Print Packages. Keep your receipts, you'll need them for all your refunds.
Hours
Regular Bookstore hours from September to April are 8:15-5:00. The Bookstore is open Monday to Friday 8:15am to 4:00 pm during the Summer months. Take advantage of our early hours, when we open at 8:15, so you can get those last minute items before classes start. The Bookstore is closed Saturday and Sunday, except for a few Saturdays during the start of the Fall and Winter terms.
Closed For Inventory! The Bookstore will not be open Thursday March 29th and Friday March 30th due to our annual inventory. We will also be unable to ship any web orders received after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday March 28th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Bookstore Buyback - Next Buyback during the April 18-25
The Bookstore pays cash for your used textbooks! The next buyback dates are April 18-25 2012. Buyback hours will be 8:30-5:00. We pay you the market price for your books based on the demand for each title. If your books are on the 2012 Summer term Capilano University Booklist, and we are not currently overstocked, we will pay you 50% of the current Bookstore price for that book. If you have bought a package (eg; text & solution manual) you can look up the isbn for this under the course listing here.
If you don't see your book on the list don't worry. We can pay you a market price for books not being used this term that reflects the additional shipping and handling costs involved. These books get shipped to other schools in North America. Again, prices for these books will vary depending upon the demand.
