Our Information:

We welcome your visit to the Capilano Advising Centre! We are located on the 2nd floor of the Birch Building, room 238.

Regular Office Hours:

Mondays 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM
Tuesdays 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM
Wednesdays 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Thursdays 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM
Fridays 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM

We encourage booked appointments so that all visitors can be met promptly. However, we do offer drop-in visits on most days. Our drop-in hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note that a booked appointment is typically 30 minutes and a drop-in visit is no longer than 15 minutes.

Advising - Our Focus:

to provide prospective students with educational planning consistent with their career goals

to assist current and prospective students in making course selections consistent with their career goals

to organize admission and course planning workshops on campus so that prospective students make an easy and successful transition into post-secondary studies

to provide on-going educational planning for students on campus

to assist students in planning their transfer to other institutions

to provide the general public with information on Capilano University programs

to visit high schools in the lower mainland to provide information on Capilano University programs and to assist students in their transition from high school to post-secondary education.
