Fees

For information and procedures about fees and payment please refer to the Capilano University Fees and Fee Payment and Exceptional Tuition and Other Fees schedules.

Tuition and student fees may vary depending on course selection, tuition increases, and skill set. It’s difficult for us to give an exact tuition amount for each student prior to joining the program. The amounts below are a rough estimate of what students in the 2010/2011 academic year paid. These fees are subject to change.

Wilderness Leadership Program:

  • Land Skill Set: approx. $6,700.
  • Water Skill Set: approx. $7,100.

Advanced Wilderness Leadership Program:

  • Three core courses + four skills courses (Winter Skills, Ski Touring, Nordic 1 & Sea Kayaking 2): approx. $4,500.

Students are also required to purchase textbooks and provide personal outdoor equipment. Student transportation is only provided outside of the Sea – Sky Corridor. On all local courses students are responsible for their own transportation.

The program is eligible for a student loan, scholarships or bursaries.  For more information, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
