How to Apply
NEW! Applying to the Tourism Management Co-op Diploma Program is easier than ever. Please ensure that you complete all steps listed below, as applications cannot be considered until the following is done:
- attend an information session to find out more about the program
- apply for admission into the University and pay your application fee
- send us all of your academic transcripts - these must be originals in a sealed envelope (not photocopies)
- submit a letter of intent
Before you begin
Please review the Admission Requirements for the Tourism Management Co-op program in the online calendar.
To be eligible for admission, you must meet the admission requirements, and all other entrance requirements identified for the program you have chosen.
If you are currently upgrading to meet the requirements or are in the process of graduating high school, you may still apply to the University.
Prepare for your application
Gather official high school and post-secondary transcripts (if not previously submitted). Contact the institution you attended if you are unsure of how to obtain these. Also prepare the other pertinent documents required for admission into your program (described below).
Review the Fees & Fee Payment section and have the appropriate application fee and document evaluation fee (where required) ready.
Apply online, in person, or by mail
Please follow the application instructions at Apply for Admission. If you are in a hurry, please note that online applications can often be processed faster.
After completing the application process, you will need to submit your application and document evaluation fee (where required) if you did not do so already during your online application process. Your fee may be submitted by mail to the Registrar's Office:
North Vancouver, B.C. V7J 3H5
Document submission
The most efficient way to complete the application process is to follow our detailed guide. Please ensure that you carefully follow each step as applications cannot be evaluated until all documents are properly submitted and you have attended an interview. Click here to view the step-by-step guide: Tourism Management Application Process.
The documents you will need to submit directly to the Tourism Department are:
- Your official high school and post secondary transcripts. Please ensure that these are official (not photocopied) and sent in a sealed envelope. You may request to have the institution you attended send the transcripts directly to us.
- A letter of intent stating your interest in the program, what your goals are, and why you feel that you'd be a good fit in the program
For more information, please contact the department.
Thank you for your interest in our program! We look forward to receiving your application.
