Ruth Scheuing

RUTH SCHEUING (Weaving ) has a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She has exhibited her work across Canada, Europe and the U.S. She has published essays addressing contemporary issues in textile arts including "material matters: the art and culture of contemporary textiles" published by YYZ Toronto. Her current work uses computerized Jacquard weaving techniques and explores implications of textiles and technology.
Ruth Scheuing has recently been named Vice President of the Textile Society of America.
