"The show consists of five new figurative bronze sculptures that follow long with my inquiry into the literal and metaphorical concept of male virile energy, a symbolic device I use to relate to masculine traditions of power, sexuality and body issues. The first series, The Metamorphoses, represents a life-cycle consisting of 3 male figures (youth, late-teens/early twenties and very old). The forth sculpture, Chastity, is an androgynous caricature of pent up sexual energy within a moral restraining device. The last piece is a bronze sculpture that portrays a dying figure, which is currently unnamed."
