Professional Scuba Dive Instructor Program
This unique program blends 6 career building academic credit courses offered through Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Department with 19 PADI and 5 other internationally recognized dive industry certifications and credentials.
Students will attend full-time with a varied schedule that blends diving days with academic and dive theory classes.
Note: Starting in the Fall 2010, students will receive 12 additional Outdoor Recreation credits for their PADI course work upon completion of REC101, 102, 103, 104. 105 and 106.

| Requirements: | A Professional Scuba Dive Instructor Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of all six core academic courses and all PADI and related dive certificates listed in the program content chart below. Students are expected to maintain a satisfactory performance in all core academic and technical dive courses. Students falling below this satisfactory level may be asked to leave the program depending on the circumstances. | |
