Depression Central: this site, "... is Internet's central clearing house for information on all types of depressive disorders and on the most effective treatments" for individuals suffering from various mood disorders.
Doctor's Guide - Schizophrenia: although most information here is aimed at the medical practitioner, follow the Schizophrenia Information link to the nature, symptoms and treatment of schizophrenia.

National Center for PTSD: this site is devoted to education and research on posttraumatic stress disorder; it provides a wealth of information related to the topic, including information for trauma survivors and veterans and fact sheets on a variety of topics, including PTSD and children, PTSD and community violence, and PTSD and the family.

Center For Addiction & Mental Health: "is a public hospital providing direct patient care for people with mental health and addiction problems. Web of Addictions: provides fact sheets on various drugs and addiction as well as links to related resources.
National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism: links to pamphlets and brochures and their Alcohol Alert publication provides access to a wealth of information on alcohol related issues.
National Eating Disorders Information Centre: this informative Canadian site provides a great deal of helpful information about eating disorders as well as other health-related issues.
