Psych 100 & 101 Text & Topics
All the Psychology 100 and 101 sections use the same text. You can find it at the Capilano University Bookstore. The introductory psychology text for 2009-2010 is:
Weiten, W., & McCann, D. (2010). Psychology: Themes & variations (2nd Cdn. ed.). Toronto: Nelson Education.
A Student Study Guide is available for the text (hard copy and on-line) and it is suggested that students will find it useful. Some instructors strongly recommend its use. Cengage Now includes an e-text, study questions, chapter quizzes, interactive learning modules, games and simulations. However, an open Text website student companion site is also available; you can access this website without a password.
Additional readings may be required by some instructors, including: The Capilano University Writing Guide.
