Written assignments & projects in the course will take you beyond the class & text content & will reflect your ability with the following skills:
Operational Details:
- Late Assignments: All papers must be submitted directly to the instructor at the beginning of the class period. Some instructors will accept emailed assignments. All late papers will be penalized 20% if handed in during a one week period after the due date. No papers will be accepted after this one week period except under exceptional circumstances.
- Plagiarism & Cheating: Students who plagiarize papers or cheat on exams will be given a grade of zero on their papers/exams. Plagiarism includes copying material from other students, or from a textbook or the web, without proper reference citations. Assignment material will be checked by your instructor to make sure there are no unattributed quotes or paraphrased material without citations &/or quotation marks.
- Instructor Links: Each instructor has their own set of assignments & exams & they will hand out a detailed "evaluation profile" (summarized below) at the beginning of the course. Some instructors may have put up their course handouts, outlines & assignments for their specific sections on their Moodle course web sites (See Course Web Pages).
