B.A. Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism
Capilano University offers a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism with a focus on autism spectrum disorders. Applied behaviour analysis is a well-developed discipline with a mature body of scientific knowledge and established standards of evidence-based practice and is regarded by many professionals as the treatment of choice for autism. Interested students may apply to ladder into Year 3 after completing the 2-year Associate of Arts Degree - Concentration in Psychology. Psychology Workshop Series
A Workshop series for Psychology students is presented each semester, including a Study Skills Workshop, a Library Research Skills Class & a APA Referencing Screencast. Attendance at one or both of these workshops may be required by your instructor. For the APA workshop, print off the Quick Guide to APA Style for a handout based on the workshop slides.
Associate Degree with a Concentration in Psychology
The Concentration in Psychology program within the Associate of Arts Degree is designed to stand alone as a two-year degree program, or to facilitate direct transfer into 3rd year as a Psychology major at other B.C. universities. It provides students with fundamental knowledge and a critical understanding of the discipline of Psychology, and fulfills lower level course requirements at SFU, UBC, and UVIC.
