The Associates of Arts Degree with a Concentration in Psychology
For the course requirements for the Associates of Arts Degree with a Concentration in Psychology, view Associate of Arts Degree - Psychology Concentration in the online calendar for the course requirements. To graduate in a timely fashion, make sure you are on track with the 2nd year requirements. You will need Psyc 212, 213, and 203, plus one of 230 or 225, and one of 220, 222, 204 or 200.
Capilano University offers a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism with a focus on autism spectrum disorders. Interested students may apply to ladder into Year 3 after completing the 2-year Associate of Arts Degree - Concentration in Psychology.
The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies
Capilano University is now offering a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. Interested students may apply to ladder into Year 3 after completing 45 credits in Arts & Sciences courses. In this program, you can continue to concentrate in Psychology, with Psychology upper level courses, Directed Studies, Tutorials & Graduating Project.
No More Math 12 for Psyc 213! The prerequisite has changed to Math 11:
Our prequisites for Psyc 213 (Statistical Methods in Psychology) have officially changed to Math 11 with a grade of 70% (B).

Sequence of Psychology Courses:
You must take PSYC 100 before you can take any other Psychology course. You can not take PSYC 101 or a 200 level course concurrently with or before PSYC 100. For a full review of Introductory Psychology required by many programs you will need both PSYC 100 and PSYC 101. PSYC 101 is also a pre-requisite for many of the 2nd year courses.

University 2nd Year Requirements:
We offer the 200 level courses required by SFU, UBC, & UVIC for majors in Psychology, to enable you to enter directly into 3rd year when you transfer to the university. Check here for further information on required 2nd year courses.
