Who has to write the MPT?

Students wanting to enrol in an entry-level course listed in the table below must write a placement test if they do not satisfy the prerequisite requirements for the course as listed in the table below.

With the exception of the placement test for admission into MATH 091 students are not allowed to rewrite the same level of placement test within a twelve-month period. The waiting period to rewrite the placement test for entry into MATH 091 is one month or longer.  

Students who completed their prerequisite course more than twelve months ago are encouraged to write the MPT to assess their current math skills.
