Kazuko Mito

Kazuko Mito is from Yokohama, Japan, and has been teaching at Capilano since 1994. She teaches first and second-year Japanese courses in Humanities. Kazuko's thesis was on the integration of language and culture in Japanese classes. She often involves current events in Japan in her teaching. She loves teaching and believes in students' potential to be successful. She helps out in different events that are sponsored by the Japanese Consulate in Vancouver in order to promote Japanese education in BC.
