Joan Li

Joan has been involved in teaching and translating in China and Japan, as well as in Canada. Since coming to Capilano in the summer of 2003, she has taught first and second year conversation courses and language labs. Joan loves teaching and, at the same time, learning new things from her students; believing that learning languages should be fun and enjoyable she brings that philosophy to the classroom. When not teaching, Joan counts reading, gardening and travelling among her favourite pastimes.
