Catherine Gloor

C. GLOOR , BA (Hons. (Concordia), MA (McMaster), BEd (UBC)

A relative newcomer to Capilano University (2006), Catherine previously taught French language and literature at McMaster University (Hamilton, Ont.), UBC and Douglas College. She also has a BEd, has taught French Immersion and worked as a librarian. In addition to a passion for sharing her native language, Catherine has an interest in 19th century French literature, the author Rachilde, and questions of gender and sexuality.

When not teaching, Catherine can be found biking around town with her seven-year-old son, Manu, or chasing chickens in her East Vancouver backyard.
