André Lachance
Born in Québec City, bassist André Lachance has been living in Vancouver since 1990. He has been touring and recording with Ian McDougall, The Brad Turner Quartet, Kate Hammett-Vaughan, Mike Allen and the Hard Rubber Orchestra, among others. He is also a member of the Chris Gestrin Trio and Soulstream. He has been a part of numerous CBC radio and television shows as well as theatre and film productions. He has shared the stage with Lee Konitz, Clark Terry, Benny Golson, Kenny Wheeler, Joe Lovano, Kenny Werner, Gary Bartz, Seamus Blake and Claude Ranger among others.
Laurence Mollerup, B. Mus. (UBC)
A mainstay of the West Coast Music Scene, Laurence is active in a wide variety of fields, including Classical, Jazz, Latin, and World Music. He plays both Double Bass and Electric Bass.
Laurence has performed with many symphony orchestras and choirs, including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Symphony, and Vancouver Opera, and his jazz credits include work with Herb Ellis, Louis Bellson, Alan Matheson and Bud Shank/Phil Woods, Charlie Byrd, NOW Orchestra, Asza, Christine Duncan, and his own jazz quartet. He can be heard on CBC radio and at jazz and folk festivals across the country. He's recorded 2 CD's with the Chilean band Sumalao, played with Sal Ferrares, Ache Brasil and the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Celso Machado, toured with Silk Road, and recorded a CD with the Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble.
Laurence's versatility has also involved him in theatre work including the musicals "Sweeney Todd" and "Ain't Misbehavin'" for the Arts Club, and "Guys and Dolls" and "The Music Man" at the Vancouver Playhouse theatre. Most weekends Laurence plays "casual" gigs with Sassabrass. He played on the soundtracks for the award-winning feature films Live Bait and A Place Called Chiapas. Laurence has performed at theVancouver Early Music Festival, and at Harbourfront in Toronto as part of Peter Hannan's "Hal Band" for the "999 Years of Music" project.
Laurence co-developed the Vancouver Bass Conference '99, 2000, and 2001, and the Comprivisation course (with Francois Houle, Ken Morrison and Benoit Delbecq ). In his spare time, Laurence enjoys making fine Bass Guitars.

In 1993, after winning the General Motors Award of Excellence as one of the top young musicians in Canada, bassist Jodi Proznick moved from her native White Rock, B.C. to Montreal, P.Q. where she obtained her B. Mus. from McGill University. Jodi was awarded a performance scholarship in 1997 as a member of the prestigious McGill Big Band. In 1998, Jodi was the winner of the IAJE Sisters in Jazz Competition, which brought her to New York to perform with Ingrid Jensen and to Detroit to open for Geri Allen. She has performed on CBC radio's Jazzbeat, Silence en Jazz and the Morning Edition. She has played and/or recorded with the legendary Charles McPherson, Eddie Daniels, P.J. Perry, Jim Rotundi, Ingrid Jensen, Brad Turner, Mike Allen, Hugh Fraser, Campbell Ryga, Miles Black, Ross Taggart, Bill Coon, Denzal Sinclaire, Kirk Macdonald, Ranee Lee, Dee Daniels, André White and many others.
Jodi is on faculty at Capilano University and at CYMC Pacific Jazz Workshop. She has adjudicated at the Envision Jazz Festival and at the Nelson Jazz Festival and has given clinics at various colleges and high schools including Grant MacEwen Community College.

Darren Radtke studied voice at Concordia College and bass at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton. After moving to Vancouver in 1993, he graduated with a B.Mus in Jazz Studies at Capilano University, and has since been working as a freelance musician. Darren has performed and recorded with musicians Denzel Sinclair, Ernestine Anderson, Cedar Walton, Joanne Brakeen, Buddy Montomery among others, and is a member of the Bill Coon Trio, Brad Turner Trio, and the Sharon Minemoto Quintet.
