DESIGN EDGE MAGAZINE POLL RESULTS
In Design Edge Magazine's TOP 50 poll, published in the Sept/Oct 2011 issue of the magazine, the IDEA Program ranked #3 (of 10 schools listed) of the "Most mentioned post-secondary Canadian design schools" (when participants were asked which school they prefer to recruit from). We followed two large Ontario schools – York University/Sheridan College (joint programs) and Ontario College of Art & Design University Toronto.
2011 GRAD SHOW
The 2011 Grad Show opening night, held at Harbour Centre on April 18th, was highly rated by visitors once again. This year, we had an even split between illustration and graphic design students, making for a very colourful display of some of the best new talent in Vancouver. Please visit idea11.ca to see the students' work and find links to their personal design or illustration portfolios. Students can be contacted directly from the website.
