Physical Education Stream

The Physical Education stream provides a multi-disciplinary study for those students interested in becoming physical education teachers, private fitness instructors or pursuing a career in coaching. Varied employment may also be found in recreation centers, senior centers, sports clubs, sport associations and sport administration.

Notes

  • Students planning to enter the Faculty of Education at U.B.C should meet with an advisor from the Faculty of Education to plan an appropriate course of study.

Requirements
Attention: The following program requirements are in addition to the University admission requirements. Refer to Admission Requirements for University Transfer Programs for further information. Please note that a Letter of Interest  and 2 Letters of Reference must be submitted.
Requirement: Completion of 60 credit hours of course work (the final 30 credits taken at Capilano University) with a minimum grade point average of 2.00.
