Exercise Science Stream
The Exercise Science stream is designed for students interested in developing a body of knowledge primarily in the Biological and Physical Sciences and applying this knowledge to the study of human movement. This stream of study will prepare students for specific study in exercise physiology, biomechanics, psycho-motor control, sport psychology and exercise management.

Exercise Science Students are required to complete twelve 12 credits of first year science courses in three of the following four areas: Biology, Chemistry, Math and Physics.

Students planning to apply to professional health science programs at UBC such as Physiotherapy and Medicine are strongly encouraged to determine the necessary undergraduate requirements that are available in other faculties such as Science and Arts.
