Marc Kielburger, Executive Director of the programs, was on campus on October 20, 2006 to give an inspiring talk about service, and to sign the agreement. From now on, students who complete a Free the Children or Leaders Today program after graduating from high school will receive credit for two courses (Global Stewardship 101 and 201) once they enter the Global Stewardship Program. This is similar to other agreements signed with Katimavik, CUSO, and Canada World Youth, and recongizes the tremendous amount of education that goes on in these service learning organizations.
