Tim Acton
Tim Acton was born and raised on Vancouver Island. After receiving a BA from the University of Victoria, he wandered inland in search of further education and employment. He received his MA and PhD from the University of Calgary and began his career as a college instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College in the frozen north. He joined Capilano in 1993 and has since taught Composition, Introductory Literature, the Novel and Canadian Literature courses.  Tim is a past Chair of the Humanities Division.
