Carlos REYES
Carlos REYES, BA (Mathematics), MA, PhD (University of California, Berkeley)
Carlos was born in the Philippines, lived in the US (mostly California) for 20 years, and now lives in downtown Vancouver. Before coming to Capilano University, he taught in Texas, California, Minnesota, and Manila. Over the years, his interests have ranged from modernist literature, diasporic writing, philosophy, visual culture (especially film and comics), and the encounter of the West with Buddhism. An enthusiast of learning new things, Carlos plans to continue cultivating new interests and sharing what he’s learned.
