Bob SHERRIN, BFA, MFA  (UBC)

I’ve taught at Capilano for 25 years where I also edited The Capilano Review for eight years. As well, I publish or exhibit occasionally, over the last several years small works of poetry, prose, fiction, photo based imagery, and 3D constructions. Naturally enough, those interests and activities also shape my approach to teaching - which for me usually includes courses on (essay) writing as well as literature considered from its readers’ perspectives. I most enjoy the classroom not only as a place of social interaction but also as a place where texts of many kinds can be interpreted from the viewpoints of both readers and writers.
