Infant Toddler Certificate
An Infant Toddler Certificate provides students with the advanced skills and knowledge to work with children under the age of three in licensed preschools and daycare centres.

When and where are courses offered?
The North Vancouver campus offers a part-time option for completing the Infant Toddler Certificate.
Students should be aware that the program includes two three-week (or one six-week) practicum placements during daytime hours.
How long will it take me to obtain the Infant Toddler Certificate?
This program is two terms (Full-time equivalency).
What credentials will I gain?
At the end of the required courses, students are awarded an Infant Toddler Certificate. The Infant Toddler Certificate enables students to register as an Infant Toddler Educator in British Columbia by applying to the Manager of Early Childhood Programs at the Community Care Licensing Branch.

What are the admission requirements?
Students wishing to obtain an Infant Toddler Certificate must apply to either the Diploma or Degree streams. Please note: students can exit with the Infant Toddler Certificate without completing other courses in the Degree / Diploma streams.
