Sue Dritmanis
A senior editor and writer with over 20 years experience, former chair of the Western Magazine Awards Foundation, and independent magazine consultant, Sue’s enthusiasm and expertise have nurtured new writers and guided seasoned magazine staff at publications such as Homemakers, Chatelaine, Vancouver, Western Living, Travel Etc., and others.
Matt O'Grady
A former associate editor at Vancouver magazine and Western Living. Matt has also served as director and treasurer of the B.C. Association of Magazine Publishers, and continues to write for a variety of local and regional publications, including Vancouver, Western Living, Westender, The Tyee and Swerve.
Elizabeth Rains
Publisher and Editorial Director of Pacific Rim Magazine, Elizabeth’s experience in journalism and publishing includes work in newspapers, consumer and trade magazines, literary journals and education, in both editorial and art direction.
Rick Staehling
Familiar to CBC audiences for his weekly film reviews, Rick’s voice is also well known in publishing houses across the continent. Editor and Art Director at Travel Etc., Western Living, Vancouver Magazine, Equity Magazine, Douglas & McIntyre, Black Press Ltd and Time/Warner, Rick also brings to the program his experience as writer, broadcaster and educator.
Carla J. Wolf
A multimedia artist with Whistling Girl Media, Carla brings to the program 15 years experience working with production media and software. Carla’s enthusiasm and range of skills, as well as her patience and positive attitude in the classroom make her classes a joy.
