• Entry level position in accounts receivable in a medium or large company
• Entry level position in accounts payable in a medium or large company
• General accountant for a small company, handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Self-employment as a bookkeeper. Record the accounting transactions for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll for a variety of small companies.

These jobs suit you if you enjoy working numbers, you are well-organized, and you seek the stability of a regular work routine.

Many graduates start in entry level positions and progress to have responsible positions after a few years.

In addition, many graduates of this program ladder into the Capilano University School of Business to take more advanced courses, leading towards a degree, a diploma, or a professional accounting designation.

Students who achieve a minimum grade of "B" in the following courses may receive credit from Business Administration:

• BTEC 252 is equivalent to BADM 106
• BTEC 117 and BTEC 217 are equivalent to BFIN 141
• BTEC 125 and BTEC 126 are equivalent to BCPT 121 & 122
