Many clinicians, often Music Therapists and Counsellors, adapt the Bonny Method of one-to-one therapy to use in their group settings or individual sessions, using any of the levels of GIM training. Many Music Therapists report that their clinical Music Therapy practice has become more effective after taking the Level 1 training. This method can be useful for almost all clinical populations and for those seeking self-development, problem solving, or greater insight and sense of purpose in life. Those who have completed all the levels of training and become Fellows of the Association of Music and Imagery, (FAMI), are able to also use this method as their primary therapeutic modality in the one-to-one format.
