Liz Moffitt, MA, MTA, RCC, FAMI. Primary Trainer
Liz Moffitt is a Music Therapist, a Gestalt therapist and trainer, and a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She taught in the Capilano University Bachelor of Music Therapy program for over 30 years, and has been recognized for her teaching excellence. She has been a Primary Trainer for Guided Imagery and Music since the program began in 2002, and has been offering all levels of training in this method at Capilano University since 1998. Liz is the only Canadian Primary Trainer. She also has a small private practice working with adults, combining Gestalt therapy with Guided Imagery and Music. Liz has published numerous articles, and has presented at national and international conferences.

Nancy McMaster, MA, MTA, FAMI
Nancy McMaster is an Accredited Music Therapist, and Fellow of the Association for Music And Imagery (FAMI). She is also an accomplished concert pianist. Nancy co-founded the Capilano University Bachelor of Music Therapy program in 1976, and continues to teach a variety of courses in the program. She completed her Masters in Music Therapy Psychotherapy from New York University. Nancy has presented at numerous national and international conferences, with a recent keynote presentation at the 2008 Canadian Association for Music Therapy conference in Ottawa.

Noele Bird, MMT, MTA, RCC, FAMI
Noele Bird is an Accredited Music Therapist and Registered Clinical Counselor. She is a facilitator of the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) and a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery. Noele has been in private practice with children, youth and adults since 1988 and add that Guided Imagery and Music is one of the most powerful methods that she uses. Noele is also a counselor at Surrey Hospice Society and a faculty member of Capilano University's Guided Imagery and Music Program.

Kay Thompson, Dip. MT, MTA, FAMI
Kay began her career in Music Therapy in 1980. Her main clinical areas include geriatric psychiatry and the elderly in long term care. She worked on the national Music Therapy board as the Accreditation Registrar for a number of years. Kay became involved in Guided Imagery and Music in 1989, completed her advanced training, and became a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery (FAMI) in 1993. Since then she has been instrumental in supporting the Guided Imagery and Music training at Capilano University. Kay feels privileged to bring her skills and wisdom to the teaching team. Kay adds "I love this work!"
