Request Official Transcripts
Information on Ordering Transcripts
· Official transcripts are issued by the Registrar's Office, only on the signed, written request of the student, and are mailed directly to the institution, agency, or student in a sealed envelope.
· Transcript requests can be made by mail, by fax, or in person at the Registrar's Office.
· Transcripts are prepared in the order in which requests are received.
· Normal processing time for transcripts is five (5) working days; however, the time to process your request may increase during peak periods.
· The cost of each transcript produced is $7.00 for regular processing.
· Rush transcripts may be requested at a cost of $17.00 each, but rush requests may be denied during peak periods. A transcript will not be issued if any University account is outstanding.
· The applicant must clear all debts before a transcript will be issued.

By Mail:

Please print out the Request for Official Transcript of Academic Record form from our Web site. Download form (PDF 92k) Requests will be processed once all the required information and your payment has been received. Students that do not remember their Capilano student number should provide additional information such as date of birth or social insurance number.
By Fax:
Requests submitted by fax should be faxed to 604.984.1798. Please print out the Request for Official Transcript of Academic Record form from our Web site. Download form (PDF 92k)
Requests will be processed once all the required information and your payment has been received.
In Person:
To request a transcript in person, please bring your student ID card or picture ID to the Registrar's Office at Capilano University, Birch Building, Room 230, 2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver. You will be asked to complete a Transcript Request form and submit payment for your request. The Cashier's Office accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, cheque, cash, money order, or debit card. Please make sure that you have the complete address of the institution or agency to which the transcripts are to be mailed.
