Application Guide
The Application Guide is designed to walk you through the process of applying for admission/readmission to Capilano University. For information on registering for courses, please consult the Timetable and Registration Guide.
Before You Apply

Consider attending a free Explore Capilano General Information Night to learn about our variety of programs and courses.

Choose a program that you are interested in and review the application comments, admission requirements, start dates, and application deadlines.

Consider booking an appointment with an Admissions and Academic Advising Officer who can help you select a program, apply, and pick the right courses.

Consider attending a free program information meeting to learn more information about your selected program.

Consult the Capilano University Calendar to obtain additional information pertaining to your selected program (e.g. required courses, course prerequisites, length of program)
Returning Students
Returning Capilano University students who do not attend classes for a Fall or Spring term must apply for readmission . Students who wish to change programs must also apply for readmission.
There are two ways to apply:
1. Apply Online
i. Apply for Admission Readmission
ii. Submit Application fee. You must pay this fee online when you submit the online application. Application fees vary as per the information outlined below:
· A $42 application fee is required for new domestic applicants (Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents) and all applicants who are applying for readmission
· A $128 application fee is required for international applicants
iii. Submit Supporting Documents. Official high school and post-secondary transcripts are required, if not previously submitted. Supporting documentation may be delivered in-person to the Capilano University Registrar's Office or mailed to:

2. Apply in Person or by Mail
i. Print an Application for Admission/Readmission (PDF) form from the University website.
ii. Submit Application Fee. Follow the instructions on the application form for submitting payments by mail or in-person. Application fees vary as per the information outlined below:
