Dean of the Faculty of Business

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Graham joined Capilano University in 1979, initially working as an instructor in the School of Business. Since 1989, Graham has maintained a part-time consulting practice in Strategic Management and training. He has also facilitated senior management retreats for a number of organizations on the subject of developing and improving strategic plans in organizations.

Graham says he works at Capilano because: “This is the best job in the world! We make a lasting difference in people’s lives and there is no greater joy than hearing from alumni about the difference we made.”

Graham is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of British Columbia, and a member of the Board of Directors of the CMABC and of the Lindell Beach Residents Association. He is a past President of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Students’ Union.

In addition to his work and Board experience, Graham volunteered for many years with the Saint Lawrence Anglican church in Coquitlam, the Vancouver Food Bank and with the Variety Club of B.C.

Graham is a Fellow of the Society of Certified Management Accountants and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (City University, Washington State), a Bachelor of Science in Administration (City University, Washington State) and a Diploma of Technology in Administrative Management (BCIT).

He and his wife, Sylvia, have two sons and one daughter. They currently live near Cultus Lake where he enjoys fishing, water skiing, woodworking and RC helicopters.
