Cheryl Nex is President and CEO of Entertainment Partners Canada, the largest provider of payroll services and production accounting software solutions for the Canadian film and television industry. Cheryl is also CEO of a sister company, Canada Film Capital Corporation, which provides Canadian film tax incentive administration and financing to foreign studios and independent producers. Having played an integral role in the evolution of the Canadian motion picture industry over the past 30 years, EP Canada is a strong supporter and contributor to major Canadian film industry organizations and associations including the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA), Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television (ACCT).

A founding member and currently a Vice-Chair and Director of the Motion Picture Production Industry Association (MPPIA-BC), Cheryl is also on the Board of Actsafe BC. Her numerous advisory roles have included developing regulations for the employment of children in the motion picture and television industry in BC, and serving on the Ethics Committee of the CGA Association of BC. Cheryl received her MBA from Simon Fraser University; she is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). Cheryl completed her Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and is an active member of TEC Canada.
